About the Role

We’re looking for an SEO Expert to own all things search. From keyword strategy and content optimization to link-building and paid campaigns, you’ll be the driving force behind boosting visibility, increasing traffic, and maximizing ROI across search networks. This role is perfect for someone who lives for data, loves testing hypotheses, and thrives on turning clicks into customers.

What You’ll Do (aka Your Superpowers)

  • Execute tests, collect and analyze data, and uncover insights to maximize campaign ROI.
  • Track, report, and analyze website analytics and PPC performance.
  • Manage campaign budgets, estimate monthly costs, and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Optimize website copy, content, and landing pages for search performance.
  • Research, discover, and expand keyword opportunities on an ongoing basis.
  • Develop and implement link-building strategies to strengthen domain authority.
  • Work with developers to ensure SEO best practices are implemented on code and site architecture.
  • Collaborate with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO-first content creation.
  • Monitor competitors, analyze advertising links, and identify areas to outrank them.
  • Recommend and implement site and content improvements to elevate search performance.

What You Bring to the Table

We’re open to diverse backgrounds, but you should have:

  • Proven experience in SEO with measurable success stories.
  • Hands-on SEM expertise managing PPC campaigns on Google, Bing, and Yahoo.
  • Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion optimization, and acquisition funnels.
  • In-depth knowledge of tools like Google Analytics, Omniture, or WebTrends.
  • Experience with bid management platforms (Marin, Kenshoo, etc.).
  • Ability to design and run A/B and multivariate experiments.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript constraints.
  • A pulse on the latest SEO/SEM trends, algorithm changes, and best practices.
