About the Role
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to be the face of the agency to potential clients. You’ll be responsible for researching and identifying new business opportunities — including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services — as well as new ways of reaching existing markets. The role revolves around growing the agency business in all aspects and building lasting client relationships.
What You’ll Do (aka Your Superpowers)
- Research and identify new business opportunities across markets, customers, and services.
- Seek out and connect with appropriate contacts in organizations.
- Generate leads and cold call prospective customers.
- Understand tender portals and prepare tender documents.
- Handle inbound leads and enquiries with professionalism.
- Make sales calls for our service vertical – Design My Slides.
- Prepare a new business base for the agency that can be leveraged in the future.
- Meet with customers/clients face-to-face or over the phone.
- Foster and develop strong relationships with customers and clients.
- Understand client needs and respond effectively with actionable plans.
- Think strategically — setting aims and objectives to grow and improve business.
- Work strategically — planning and implementing necessary operational changes.
- Draw up client contracts and agreements.
- Develop a strong understanding of our products and services to advise clients.
- Ensure internal teams are aligned with business goals and changes.
- Train team members and coordinate external training where needed.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on promotional strategy and activities.
- Seek ways of improving business operations.
- Attend seminars, conferences, and events where appropriate.
- Stay up to date with trends and changes in the business world.

Requirements
- 3–4 years’ experience in an agency or similar setup.
- Graduate / Post Graduate preferred.
- Up-to-date with the latest happenings in the brand and marketing world.
- Proficiency with MS Office.
- Passion for ATL, TTL, and BTL Marketing.
