About the Role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to be the face of the agency to potential clients. You’ll be responsible for researching and identifying new business opportunities — including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services — as well as new ways of reaching existing markets. The role revolves around growing the agency business in all aspects and building lasting client relationships.

What You’ll Do (aka Your Superpowers)

  • Research and identify new business opportunities across markets, customers, and services.
  • Seek out and connect with appropriate contacts in organizations.
  • Generate leads and cold call prospective customers.
  • Understand tender portals and prepare tender documents.
  • Handle inbound leads and enquiries with professionalism.
  • Make sales calls for our service vertical – Design My Slides.
  • Prepare a new business base for the agency that can be leveraged in the future.
  • Meet with customers/clients face-to-face or over the phone.
  • Foster and develop strong relationships with customers and clients.
  • Understand client needs and respond effectively with actionable plans.
  • Think strategically — setting aims and objectives to grow and improve business.
  • Work strategically — planning and implementing necessary operational changes.
  • Draw up client contracts and agreements.
  • Develop a strong understanding of our products and services to advise clients.
  • Ensure internal teams are aligned with business goals and changes.
  • Train team members and coordinate external training where needed.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on promotional strategy and activities.
  • Seek ways of improving business operations.
  • Attend seminars, conferences, and events where appropriate.
  • Stay up to date with trends and changes in the business world.

Requirements

  • 3–4 years’ experience in an agency or similar setup.
  • Graduate / Post Graduate preferred.
  • Up-to-date with the latest happenings in the brand and marketing world.
  • Proficiency with MS Office.
  • Passion for ATL, TTL, and BTL Marketing.
